Item 3092- Here is a wonderful collection of RARE Halcyon Days boxes from HRH The Prince of Wales and Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales. I have amassed more than 85 Halcyon Boxes. These are duplicates from my private collection. Specially commissioned Halcyon Days boxes from the Prince and Princess of Wales are the rarest and most valuable in the world with some commissions being as low as 25 pieces. Most specially commissioned boxes are made to commemorate a royal event or a royal tour. Each year both Prince Charles and Princess Diana together or separately commissioned a box after many royal tours. The boxes were given exclusively to those who accompanied them on their tour., usually between 20 and 25 people. Most being ordered in a quantity or 50 to 100. Some boxes were given as Christmas gifts. The design always related to the country they had just visited. The most sought after royal box is with the Highgrove design given as a Christmas present with Charles and Diana's signature inside the lid. These boxes are never offered to the public unless through resale or an auction site which is rare as most people keep the boxes. These boxes were purchased directly by me, Alicia Carroll from a retired member of the Prince of Wales staff who was given many boxes as gifts. A Certificate of Authenticity will be given to the buyer from Everything Royal. These boxes are:

Item 3093 - Here is a 39 year old beautifully matted, framed letter from Prince Charles along with a photo. The typed letter (signed by Prince Charles) is dated 29th July 1977. It is on official Buckingham Palace stationary. He has written,
Dear Mr. Myatt, (written
in Charles hand)
I am writing as Chairman of The Queen's Silver Jubilee
Trust to thank you very much for all the splendid work that
you have done in support of The Queen's Silver Jubilee
Appeal, which I launched on the 24th April. I know that
a great deal of ground work was done over many months during
you period of office to contribute to the success of the
Appeal which was then launched officially in your successor's
term of office
I hope that at the end of
this year when active fund
raising ceases we will all be proud of the amount we have
raised for The Queen's Silver Jubilee Trust to commemorate
the twenty-five years of The Queen's reign and as an
expression of the Nation's affection and gratitude for her
dedicated service.
Charles (in Charles hand writing)
This is truly a nice piece for display. The signature is very clear. It is difficult to photograph through the glass which has a glare. $5,500.00
