Dec 7th 1988

Dear Nick,

The enclosed small present comes as a token of my warmest appreciation for Devil's Elbows thrilling Victory at Worcester. I can't tell you how excited I still am the realization that we have had a winner here at Highgrove. It's like catching a salmon on a fly you tied yourself-only better! My congratulations to you -- and I hope we can now turn him into a successful steeplechaser in due course!

As ever, Charles

SOLD 1951 LETTER SIGNED BY PRINCESS MARGARET

SOLD Here is a 68 year old rare piece as there is very little from Princess Margaret available. This letter is dated August 21st, 1951. It is a typed letter with Margaret's signature to the members of the Royal Household. The letter is a thank you for a lovely birthday present sent for her 21st birthday. It reads,

August 21, 1951

I should like to send you my grateful
thanks for you share in the lovely present I have
received from the Royal Household on my twenty-first
birthday.
I can assure you that I will always treasure
the beautiful tea-set and the two little tables, and
I am so touched by your kind thought and good
wishes on my birthday.

Margaret (signed by Princess Margaret)

Princess Margaret was the most beautiful royal of her time. It is sad she was forbidden from marrying the man she loved because he had been divorced. I often wonder what she must have thought in later years watching all the royal divorces, scandals, etc. All too sad!! $2,000.00 plus postage
