LETTER FROM DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES WRITTEN DURING HER SECOND PREGNANCY

RARE letter with Diana mentioning Charles

SOLD - This 33 year old one page, double sided letter on official Kensington Palace stationary was written by Diana on March 14, 1983 when she was three months pregnant with Prince Harry. She was unable to visit a friend as promised. She writes,

Dearest __________
It was so kind and thoughtful of you to realize that Wednesday would have been
difficult for me.
Believe it or not, I very much wanted to come but could not make up my mind to which
was most important.
Now that Charles has decided, I hopefully won't be in too much chaos, save chance!!
I just wanted to say Judy, how enormously touched we were by your concern & please
forgive us for not coming-
With fondest love, Diana

Diana had a difficult time with both her pregnancies. Imagine doing several royal engagements a day and not feeling well but having to have the "stiff upper lip" attitude and smile through it all! $22,000.00 SOLD -
