Before pricing this car, I went to Beverly Hills Mercedes. I was told to forget the Blue Book. This car has to be seen to be appreciated.
After going to dealerships looking for a new car, I was amazed at the prices for plastic~! This car is solid! No plastic! I had the front and back bumpers rechromed.

This is one of the nicest Mercedes Benz in the area.

It is a 1982 380 SL Convertible with a hard top. It has a $5,000.00 paint job. Rebuilt engine (done at a Mercedes dealership. Rebuilt transmission. New tires, shocks and brakes.
The interior is really nice as is the carpet. The exterior is a dark Mercedes (dealer ) color with Palomino interior. Martel's redid the carpeting a few years ago.

This car is seldom driven as I have a work car.
The AC, power windows and doors are all in excellent condition.

I am the second owner. I got it from the President of my Uncle's company who decided he was too old for the car. I've had it since about 1990.
I have all service records from day one. I also have the set of Mercedes tools (never used) which originally came with the car.
It also has an alarm system.

I will only accept CASH. No cashiers checks or money orders due to the frauds being done on the Internet. I will not sell to a foreign buyer with a check who wants someone else to pick up the car. It must be seen in person and paid by CASH.

I will only show the car at the dealership in Beverly Hills and payment will be done at my bank.
