The following dolls are from my mother's collection. All dolls with one exception are in their original boxes. They have never been displayed or exhibited in any way. They have never been exposed to sunlight, cigarette or any other type of smoke. They are new in mint condition unless a factory defect which will be in the description. SPECIAL - Dolls of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor made in or about 1937. SOLD

I have owned Everything Royal for the past 25 years. These are the first dolls of the Duke and Duchess of Wndsor of this type I have ever seen. If anyone can give further information, please email me with details (royaltyac@aol.com) As you will recall, King Edward VIII gave up the throne of England in 1936 to marry twice divorced Wallis Simpson. Edward's abdication made way for the future King George VI, father of Queen Elizabeth II, current Queen of England. Had Edward not married Wallis, the course of history most assuredly would have been different and we would have never known the late Princess Diana. I purchased these dolls from a man who said his grandmother had worked for the Duchess in Paris after the death of Edward. I was told the dolls were given to the Duchess by the maker and the clothes were supposedly made from fabric from the Duke and Duchess. The dolls faces are a composition (they are not carved wood)with fabric bodies. I have been to Christie's, Sotheby's and Bonhams who have specialists in royal memorabilia. They had never seen these dolls, nor could we find any information in the dozens of doll books they have in their reference departments. The dolls are 11 inches from head to toe. Alas, poor Wallis had slight damage to the tip of her nose. She was restored by Brooke's Restoration in Beverly Hills. The dolls are in excellent condition. They are wrapped with archival paper used to protect the clothing from deteriorating. They were difficult to photograph as there is a slight shine due to the finish glaze on their faces. They have been scanned for listing. If you require additional photographs, I will do my best. Postage and insurance will depend on location. Doll 52 . This is a vintage 1930's cloth Heidi doll made in Hungary. She needs some tender love and care. She measures about 15" long. She has a hard face and soft hair. The rest of her is all cloth. She shows some signs of age but in nice shape. Her painted face is cute. She has lost a shoe. Her clothes need cleaning. No markings.

Doll 54 is the most wonderful doll in my mother's collection. This is the 35" (3ft) famous Jackie Kennedy doll from GADCO. She is new, in her box. She is too gorgeous to adequately describe. She has glass eyes, Swiss batiste, French embroideries and laces, hand-knit stockings, leather shoes and Gadco's special exclusive porcelain-like hard vinyl. She is fully pose-able to all human positions. She was made in a limited quantity of 5000. My mother sold this exact doll for $3,500 immediately after the Sotheby Jackie auction shown around the world. She originally sold for $495.00 plus shipping and handling.This is a rare doll.

Doll 55: Bruno Rossellini's "DIANA®" As A Young Girl , 35" in Height, HardCastTM Vinyl, Worldwide Limited Edition of 5000.This doll is # 10 of 750 according to the certificate. The bottom of the Certificate of Ownership reads, "Very Limited Signed Artist Proof Edition Ten of Fifty. so, she is either number 10 of 5000, number 10 of 750 or number 10 of 50. I will have to remove Diana from her box to look for a signature by Rossellini and any identifying numbers. This doll is a beautiful rendition of the young Queen Victoria. From the 1994 UFDC in Atlanta, GA. Doll Artist Virginia Orenys . The doll is 13 1/2 inches tall, has bisque china shoulder head, arms and legs. Cloth stuffed torso. Beautifully hand-painted features. Her dress is of cream silk with lace and blue sash. I added the miniature enamel medal. She comes with her original box and is in mint clean condition. A lovely doll for your English or Royal collection.

Doll 56: This is a 23" Heirloom doll from Duck House. She is number 6009 or 15,000. She has porcelain face, hands and feet. She has painted eyes with beautiful lashes. Her clothes are too gorgeous to describe. Her gown is adorned with lace, pearls, ribbon and flowers. She has a ruffled petticoat and a hoop. She is carrying an adorable purse. Her dress seems to be a tad big for her. This doll and the next three were store displays and I have a feeling she may or may not be in the wrong dress. She is a beautiful doll and priced to sell. She has a wonderful mane of reddish brown hair with a lace bonnet. She is new in her box.

Doll 57: is another Heirloom porcelain doll from Duck House. She is an amazing 28" tall. Her clothes are fabulous. She has porcelain face, hands and feet. Her eyes are painted. The pictures say it all. She is absolutely beautiful. She is number 426 of 5000. Her clothes are wonderful with lace, flowers, ribbons, braid and pearls. She has her gown, hat, purse, petticoat and hoop. She was a store display. Her new owner will need to fluff her clothes and work with her hair.

Doll 58: is another porcelain doll from Duck House. She is too magnificent to adequately describe. She is a big 28" tall. She is absolutely beautiful. She is dressed in a wonderful, lace, pearl and stain gown with under petticoats. . She is carrying a lace parasol. She has a cameo at her breast. Her hat has flowers, ribbon and feathers. She is truly one of the prettiest dolls I have ever seen. She is named Isabella. She is number 112 of 5000. She comes with her Certificate of Authenticity from Heirloom Dolls.
