Diana, Princess
of Wales Memorial
Everything Royal was started because of Diana, Princess
of Wales. I owe much to Diana. She made Everything Royal the most
successful commemorative company in the world. I think of her
often and miss her brilliant smile and beautiful face looking
back at me from the TV. The world lost a treasure on Aug. 31,
1997.
Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain
the sixth anniversary of Diana's death has come
and gone with no notice from the royal family. We have yet to
see a lasting tribute, be it a statue, fountain or shrine erected
in London in memory of Diana.
It has been stated in the media and on film Her
Majesty the Queen did not want Diana's body returned from Paris
to a royal residence or palace. She wished her taken directly
to a mortuary. It has also been stated she wanted no formal services
for Diana. It was also against her wishes that Charles go to Paris
to being Diana home. It was at the urging of Prince's William
and Harry, according to the latest film " Diana Forever"
that all honors be paid to Diana in laying her to rest. It was
due to the pressure of millions the Queen lowered the flag to
half mast at Buckingham Palace. And, if you remember, it was not
a royal flag but the flag of Britain.
Now we see an uncaring family who has made no attempt
to have a lasting memorial erected to Diana. I'm sure there will
be statues honoring the late Queen Mother within a years time.
Whatever the feelings of the royal family regarding
Diana, she was here, she made a difference and she will be remembered.
Scroll down for addresses to contact both HM The
Queen and HRH Prince Charles to voice your opinion. Please, at
all times, be courteous.
A design for a fountain has FINALLY been approved.
Now, only time will tell, if all goes well, if they will meet
their completion date on the 6th anniversary of Diana's death.
As you will see from the following article, HRH
Prince Charles has dedicated a memorial to his beloved grandmother,
the late Queen Mum and it didn't take five years!
CHARLES' GRAN GESTURE Aug

(Daily Mirror London)
IT'S so good to see that five years
after the mother of his two children died, the Tortured Tampax
has turned his thoughts to a memorial. For his granny.
Prince Charles has agreed to inscribe
a personal message on the Queen Mother's favourite bench in her
Castle of Mey gardens, where she stayed twice a year. (Yet kept
a full staff on throughout to make sure among other things, the
flowers were in bloom for her visits). If Charles has not yet
decided the wording for the bench, where she took her aperitif
before being ushered through to dinner, how about this: "I
sat here toasting my own fortune while servants tended to my every
need. Then got up the next day and did it all again."
Cripes, I've only gone and started
crying again. Gawd bless her £4million overdraft.

Diana's brother fears for Princes' family link
LONDON (Reuters) - Princess Diana's brother believes that
princes William and Harry "may not be encouraged to stay
in touch with their mother's side of the family".And Earl
Spencer revealed that Prince Charles has spoken to him just once
since Diana was killed in a Paris car crash five years ago. In
an interview with Monday's Guardian newspaper, he also said
Charles had never visited
the grave of his ex-wife, buried on an island at the Spencer family
estate.

One has only to visit London for a day to view the many statues
and fountains erected to everyone imaginable yet there is no lasting
tribute to the most famous woman of all time, not to mention,
a Royal Princess.
This was the mother of the future King of England,
the most loved Princess and most famous person in recorded history.
There are more books on Princess Diana than any other person in
history including all the Kennedy's combined. Her legacy will
live on forever.
Princess Diana was a light in the window for every
young girl. It took us back to a time of the Princess in the ivory
tower. She was not only beautiful and a wonderful mother, she
quite literally changed the face of the world.
Until Diana, one in every thousand persons knew
the name of the Queen of England. Diana made every member of the
British royal family a household name. Magazines were issued for
no other reason than coverage of the royal family. She made charity
a household word.
She changed the face of the world by simply being
Diana.
